Meet Aaron Makepeace: BSL Student Counsellor, advocate, and campaigner on deaf issues.

Aaron joins the low-cost counselling team at Lighthouse 43 working both at the Cheriton Practice and online. Aaron's journey to becoming a counsellor is both personal and powerful. After facing his own mental health crisis, he encountered the stark reality many in the deaf community face: a profound lack of access to BSL counsellors. His experience not only shaped his resolve but also his career path.

Very nice to meet Phenomenal K at the Peace in a Frantic World Exhibition.

A local rap artist, who's new song "Be a Star" was just released.

Filmed and recorded in Folkestone, it's a heart-felt song about finding peace within yourself.
