This is the hardest post we have ever had to write.
Yesterday we said goodbye to our beloved trustee Frank who sadly passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on the 22nd October.
Frank was one of the original trustees when we purchased the old hospital in 2018.
Since then he remained committed and passionate about not only the old hospital but Fleetwood as a town.
His love of the community and the work of the Trust was amazing, he was proud of our achievements but without him we wouldn't have got as far as we have.
He was the driving force behind the Trust in the beginning and continued this with his support and friendship towards our CEO Charley. She herself has described him as her biggest support and ally, he was there for the good days and the hard days, always with advice, guidance and laughter. He would always say just start the bloody construction as then you have to finish it.
It is those words that will keep her and the other Trustees going through this incredibly sad time, we will get the project finished, to leave a legacy for Frank.
We would like to send all our love to his beautiful family who have lost their beloved dad, grandad, brother and wonderful husband to Karen.
Finally to you, Frank, we love you, we miss you and we will do you proud.
From the bottom of our hearts sleep peacefully. π
