A shout out to Ben Prime for hosting a fabulous race night at the weekend for over 200 people at the Gainsborough Social Club. So many people they had to have a last minute venue change!
Ben is battling a Glioblastoma with such bravery, and I was lucky to chat to him on Saturday night and feel the power of his positive attitude. With support of his friends, and community, Ben has raised over £20,000 for The Brain Tumour Charity since his diagnosis at the end of 2025. Thank you Ben!!

Jordan is 11 and last week he climbed Mount Snowdon in Wales! He was supported by family members to help him achieve his goal to raise money for The Brain Tumour Charity. And he did - £1440 and still counting!! ⭐ Thank you Jordan ⭐

He set himself this challenge after his mum had been diagnosed with a benign brain tumour in January 2025, which caused a lot of anxiety and disruption to Jordan's life. While things have settled down, Jordan wanted to do something to help this cause. He wants to turn something negative into something positive, and while things will always be a bit uncertain, this will help positive focus and give a sense of pride.

It's a special post today to celebrate and thank Jasper Dix. Jasper is a truly inspirational young man who has been going above and beyond to raise funds for The Brain Tumour Charity. His total is currently at an absolutely incredible £53,774 (over £60,000 with gift aid)!!
Jasper, supported by friends and family, is walking all 298km of the Thames Path Trail in May. On Saturday he hosted a special dinner at Oriel College Oxford. Simon Newman, Chief Scientific Officer from TBTC spoke at the dinner and was touched by Jasper's story and the support from all the guests.
Jasper has engaged so many amazing people around him, really embodying community spirit and proving the power of family and friends.
In late 2024 Jasper was diagnosed with a grade 4 astrocytoma and is raising money because he knows that we need to drive urgent change - that a cure can't wait.
You can follow Jasper's progress on his Instagram page .
A heartfelt thank you Jasper, from everyone at The Brain Tumour Charity ❤️

A huge thank you to the amazing team at the Holiday Inn Edinburgh and especially the Spirit Health Club Edinburgh, for taking part in this year’s Big Bake 🍰❤️💪

Together, you’ve raised an incredible £1,055 - what an achievement!

£300 funds a full day of research into brain tumours, so thanks to your efforts, you’ve helped fund over 3 days of vital research. That’s 3 days closer to better treatments, and ultimately, a cure.

We’re so grateful to everyone involved, from the organisers to every single person who baked, donated, and supported ❤️

And to everyone else who took part in this year’s Big Bake, we’d love to hear how you got on! If you haven’t had a chance to send in your fundraising yet, there’s still time 🧠❤️

Rushden's 3rd annual Twilight Walk took place on Saturday with over 120 people! What a day of all seasons, with sunshine, rain and cold winds but nothing stopped the smiles and community spirit. Over £1,000 raised and donations still coming in.
A special shout out and huge thanks to Diane, for organising the walk in her husband Dean's memory.

Wow… what a Big Bake day we’ve had 🧁❤️

From street stalls to hospital wards, right across the UK, it’s been incredible to see so many people coming together to support us.

What an amazing community we have.

It’s you who make the difference.
It’s you who start those life-saving conversations.
And it’s you who move us closer to a cure every single day.

“Thank you” honestly doesn’t feel enough for everything you do.

You are the heart of this charity, and we simply couldn’t do it without you ❤️🧠💪

⭐Get set... Bake! Time to preheat those ovens and pin up the bunting - the Biggest Bake day is finally here!! With bakes happening all over the country you are all a part of something truly special ⭐

These events are about so much more than cake (although we do love the cake!). They bring communities together, spark important conversations, raise awareness and help us reach people who may not yet know the signs and symptoms of a brain tumour and that awareness could genuinely help save someone’s life.

To all of our Big Bakers so far, thank you! You are absolutely amazing, and we’re so grateful for everything you’re doing to support The Brain Tumour Charity

And the best part? There’s still time to get involved!

Whether it’s at home, work, school or in your community every bake, every conversation and every donation makes a difference. ❤️
