VOLUNTEER ROLE OF THE MONTH! If you have your own car and some spare time, there are a number of organisations who would love to have you as a volunteer driver. Whether you could take someone to a medical appointment, get young carers to their clubs or collect food to be used in food parcels, there's a role for you. Many of the roles are really flexible so could be great for people who can't help every week.

Thank you to everyone who has shared items with us for recycling via the port holes in the Hart Shopping Centre. Keep them coming! Just a reminder of what we can take and recycle:
* Cracker and biscuit wrappers (see image for details)
* Kinder/Ferrero Rocher packaging (see image for details)
* Printer cartridges (any brand)
* Devices including mobile phones, tablets, cameras, game consoles, sat navs or MP3 players.

Our lovely volunteers have sadly found an increasingly large amount of rubbish when they have been sorting the recycling so a plea to all you fabulous people to take care that you're only putting the above in the port holes (other soft plastics can be taken to either Waitrose or Sainsburys).

VOLUNTEER ROLE OF THE MONTH! Our Thermal Imaging project will be in action once again this winter and we'd love some more volunteers to join our incredible team. You'll be visiting homes in the Hart area to carry out thermal imaging assessments. You'll work in pairs and all training is provided including camera training.

It's hard to imagine it being cold again at the moment, but this winter we will be running our thermal imaging scheme again - in partnership with Hart District Council - and we are looking for more people to join our amazing team of volunteers!

Volunteers will work in pairs to visit Hart residents who have registered to have a free assessment of their home. Training is provided. Find out more about the role here: https://bit.ly/4g5k95b
