The Community Matters Partnership

A big thank you to the team from Happiful, who spent yesterday volunteering with Just Around the Corner (JAC). 🙌

The team got stuck into clearing the allotments, emptying the marquees and helping to take them down, making a real difference and helping JAC get everything organised and ready for the months ahead.

After a busy day of hard work, they were also treated to a tour of the animals, which was a lovely way to round things off! 🐴🐐

A fantastic effort from everyone involved and another great example of businesses giving their time to support local organisations and the communities they serve.

A great day of volunteering at Cherrywood Community Primary School, where we recently welcomed teams from Farnborough Airport and Aviator.

The group rolled up their sleeves and got stuck into clearing the school’s environmental area, helping to get it ready for an exciting new project starting in the spring. By the end of the day they had filled an impressive 21 tonne bags with green waste, although the finds of the day were slightly more unexpected… a bra and a fox skeleton, complete with teeth! 😳🦊

As always, the team worked incredibly hard and brought their usual enthusiasm, energy and good humour to the day. A huge thank you to everyone involved for making such a difference to the school and helping prepare the space for what comes next.

We were recently joined at Yateley Industries by some of the BMW UK Sales team, who rolled up their sleeves for a day of gardening, clearing and tidying to help keep the grounds well maintained. 🌿

There’s always plenty to do in an outdoor space, and having a team of willing volunteers makes a real difference, giving those ongoing jobs some much-needed attention.

A big thank you to everyone who took part for their hard work, enthusiasm and time. It’s wonderful to see our corporate partners getting involved and supporting organisations in our community. 💚

Closing the office so the whole team can volunteer together is a lovely commitment to the community, and that’s exactly what Stewart & Co did recently. 💚

We were delighted to welcome them to Brookwood Cemetery, where they got stuck into clearing overgrown graves, helping to uncover and preserve the history of this special place. Their enthusiasm and teamwork made a real difference, and it was wonderful to see everyone playing their part.

After an afternoon of hard work, a fascinating talk about Brookwood’s history gave the team a chance to learn more about the place they’d helped care for and the stories behind its graves.

A huge thank you to everyone at Stewart & Co for giving their time and energy so generously. Days like these show just how much a team can achieve together.

We recently had the pleasure of welcoming Tecna to St Mark’s Church in Upper Hale, Farnham, where they got stuck into giving the gardens a wonderful transformation. 🌿

The team cut back overhanging shrubs, removed ivy from the old church wall and cleared the pathway, which provides an important pedestrian route as the road has no pavement.

Best of all, they put up a fence to give the church’s toddler group a safe space to play outside, making a real difference for the little ones and those looking after them. 💚

We can always rely on Tecna to do a great job, and this visit was no exception. A huge thank you to everyone involved for their hard work and enthusiasm!
