We had a brilliant volunteering day last week with The Sixth Form College, supporting their new pilot programme, Skills for Success.
Over two days, volunteers spent time with students who needed a little extra support with their next steps after college, helping to build confidence, strengthen communication skills, and practice interview techniques in a relaxed and supportive environment.

It was fantastic to see so many businesses come together to share their experience, encouragement, and advice with the students. A huge thank you to everyone involved:
• BMW
• FBI & ADS Group
• Wilcox Day
• Siemens Healthineers
• Energi People

These kinds of partnerships really do make a difference, and it was great to see the students grow in confidence throughout the sessions.

Recently, we welcomed a fantastic group of volunteers from Asahi UK to the Woking Foodbank warehouse, and what a difference they made.

From sorting donations into date order to helping prepare shopping lists for local people facing crisis, the team got stuck in from the moment they arrived. Their energy, teamwork, and willingness to help kept everything moving smoothly and ensured essential items are ready for the families who need them most.

Partnerships and volunteering days like these really do have a lasting impact, not only on the charities being supported but also on the people giving their time.

A huge thank you again to everyone from Asahi who took part 👏

We held our first annual volunteering day last week at Woking College, where we welcomed 14 volunteers from 8 different companies joined us to interview around 50 students, helping them build confidence, develop interview skills and gain valuable insight into the world of work.

The feedback from everyone involved was incredible. Staff, students and volunteers all left uplifted, and we’re sure our volunteers got just as much out of the day as the students did.

There were some fantastic success stories too, from students making connections with companies they’re interested in, to a potential job opportunity, and even one student overcoming a fear of interviews after a previous bad experience.

A hugely valuable and rewarding day for everyone involved, and we’re already looking forward to working with Woking College again in the future!

A huge thank you to the teams from .airport and for volunteering at Frogmore Care & Wellbeing Centre recently. From weeding and strimming to jet washing the outdoor areas, and even discovering a rather unexpected toad along the way, their enthusiasm and teamwork made a real difference.

Thanks to their hard work, the outdoor space is now even more welcoming and enjoyable for everyone to use and appreciate. 🌿

There’s something really special about seeing businesses roll up their sleeves and get stuck into the local community.

We were delighted to welcome a team from Farnborough International to The Grange Junior School recently, who arrived armed with tool kits, plenty of energy, and a real willingness to make a difference.

The team worked hard throughout the day, clearing weeds from the pond area and flower beds and completely transforming the outdoor space for the children and staff to enjoy. They also built two brilliant mud kitchens, which are sure to become a favourite feature during Forest School sessions and playtimes.

A huge thank you to everyone involved for giving up their time and helping create such a positive impact for the school community.

Last week, we held our 2026 Yateley Industries Annual Volunteering Day, bringing together 60 volunteers from 10 local businesses for a fantastic day of giving back to the community. The teams rolled up their sleeves and got stuck into a range of outdoor projects including gardening, cutting back overgrowth, clearing areas, weeding, and helping to tidy and maintain gardens for disabled residents who needed an extra hand.

It was brilliant to see so many local companies come together, not just to volunteer their time, but to make a real difference where it matters most. A huge thank you to everyone who took part from Amazon Filters, FB Airport, Aviator, Up&Away Aviation Detailing, Leapfrog Internet Marketing, Porter Garland, Signwrite Studios, UK Connect, Butt Miller and Siemens Healthineers.

When local businesses work together like this, the impact can be huge. Brilliant effort all round.

We recently hosted a fantastic Community Volunteer Day with a team from Herrington Carmichael at RSPCA Millbrook Animal Centre.

The team spent the day clearing brambles, nettles and overgrowth from the dog exercise compounds, filling five tonne bags in the process, with plenty saved aside for the goats to enjoy! 🐐

After all their hard work, the team was treated to a tour of the centre and the chance to meet some of the animals being cared for there.

Altogether, the team donated 48 hours of volunteering time, making a valuable difference to the site and helping the centre continue its work.

A huge thank you to everyone involved for such a brilliant effort.
