Transition Cafe Fishguard

Transition Cafe Fishguard We closed due to demolition of our premises. We continue to campaign on food waste issues.

Permanently closed.

Between June 2013-Nov 2017 Transition Cafe used surplus food from local businesses and community members to provide wholesome and tasty food at a reasonable cost. We continue to redistribute food through Fishguard & Goodwick Community Fridge. Check out the page for more information - https://www.facebook.com/fandgcommunityfridge

December saw us celebrate the 25th issue of the Life Seeker newspaper.

25 issues…that’s the equivalent of 500+ stories shared, 425 local organisations supported and (quite likely) thousands of smiles created!

This month brings more signposts to someone, somewhere or something you have the potential to build into your own life in west Wales.

Living well is about taking baby steps toward doing the things that make you smile. And of course, although life isn’t always as easy as 1, 2, 3, we know our gentle reminders make all the difference over time.

The newspaper is going bi-monthly!

We're often overwhelmed by your comments about this resource we produce as our way of giving back to the community. Alongside this, we have some other exciting ideas to develop…and to free up some space to get there, we’ll be bringing the newspaper to you every other month moving forward.

We’ll share news as things progress so watch this space for future issues and evolving updates!

Meanwhile, kick back and enjoy

PS: Will you be joining our weekly Winter Walk & Chinwags?
