🚨🌊 RNLI FISHGUARD OPEN DAY – TOMORROW! 🌊🚨

The crew have been busy behind the scenes… and not just getting the lifeboats ready! 👀🍰

👩‍🍳🧁 They’ve been busy baking! So come along and enjoy some delicious home-baked cakes, made by our fantastic crew and supporters. We’ll also have:

🎶 Live music
🌊 North Breakwater Walk – take a stroll and keep your eyes peeled for our local dolphins! 🐬
🚤 Meet our amazing lifeboat crew

There’ll be plenty to see, do and enjoy for all the family – and most importantly, your visit helps support the volunteers who are there for those in trouble at sea. ❤️

🚗 VISITING RNLI FISHGUARD OPEN DAY? PLEASE READ OUR PARKING INFORMATION ☀️

With the weather looking fantastic, we’re expecting a busy afternoon at our RNLI Fishguard Open Day on Sunday 9th August, 2pm–6pm.

⚠️ Parking at the port is very limited and will be restricted to disabled visitors and essential access only.

🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️ We kindly ask all other visitors to park at Town Moor Car Park (behind Tesco) and enjoy the short walk down through the port to the lifeboat station. Our friendly parking marshals will be on hand to direct you.

🔎 Don’t forget to join in our FREE Anagram Competition!

Pick up an entry form from the marshal at the port entrance and keep your eyes peeled as you walk through the port. Spot all the letters, discover some fascinating lifeboat facts along the way, and unscramble the mystery word!

🧸 Once you’ve completed your entry, pop it into the competition box by the pontoon entrance for your chance to win an RNLI Fishguard Teddy!

We can’t wait to welcome you for a fantastic afternoon of fun, fundraising and meeting your local lifeboat crew. See you on Sunday! 🌊🧡

🌊🐬 Will the dolphins make a return this year? 🐬🌊

One of the highlights of our RNLI Fishguard Open Day & North Breakwater Walk is keeping an eye on the water… because if we’re lucky, our local dolphins might just come out to say hello! 💙

They often join our volunteer crew on training nights, surfing the bow wave alongside the lifeboat, and it’s always a magical sight. This fantastic video captures one of those unforgettable moments perfectly.

Bring the whole family along to enjoy a great afternoon, meet our volunteer crew, see our boats, enjoy delicious burgers and local gelato, listen to live local music, meet the emergency services, take the North Breakwater walk, and keep your fingers crossed for a dolphin appearance!

Who knows… they might just steal the show once again! 🐬✨

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to support the RNLI Fishguard Duck Race! 🦆💛

It was fantastic to see so many people lining the quay wall, cheering on their ducks and enjoying the lovely sunshine. Your support made the event truly special.

A big thank you as well to Fishguard Sea Cadets for helping to catch the ducks, and to Round Table Fishguard & District for the loan of their ducks – we couldn’t have done it without you!
