This isn’t a post I ever want to write… but it’s one I need to.
We’re having some ongoing issues with the field, and until things are fully sorted, it would be wise for us to rehoming a few animals or even foster some out temporarily.
We have some lovely residents who are ready for new homes, and others who would benefit from a short‑term foster placement while we get everything back on track. Every adoption or foster comes with a contract, home checks, and the rule that if they ever need to be moved on, they must come back to Hearts & Hooves.
Please remember — not all animals here are suitable for rehoming, and those who aren’t will stay with me for life, happy, safe, and asking for nothing.
If you’re interested in adopting or fostering, drop us a message.

A little update on Baby George 🐷💙
His sisters have all gone off to amazing homes, but George is still here waiting for his perfect match. He’s around 7 months old, very friendly once he gets to know you, and absolutely loves a good scratch.
George isn’t castrated, but he’s slightly litter trained — with a bit more time and consistency he’ll have the rest of his training nailed. When he was younger he walked lovely on a harness, and although he hasn’t done it for a few months, I’m sure he’d pick it back up quickly.
If you think you could offer George the loving home he deserves, drop us a message for more info.
Adoption contract applies, and if he ever needs to be moved on he must come back to Hearts & Hooves.
CPH number and proof will be required.

I’ll be honest… this is the part I really struggle with.
I get attached to every animal here, and letting them go is never easy. But some of our lovely residents are now ready to find their new homes.
We have goats, llamas and pigs available for adoption.
Every rehoming will be done with a contract, home checks, and an adoption fee. If an animal ever needs to be moved on, they must return to Hearts & Hooves.
A CPH number is needed, and proof will be required.
And just to be clear — not all animals here are suitable for rehoming. Some will stay with me for life, living happily and asking for nothing more than the love and safety they have here.
If you’d like more information or want to express interest, send us a message.

I don’t usually post like this, but I need to be honest.
Hearts & Hooves is in a really desperate place. Hay prices have gone through the roof, feed costs are unbelievable, and vet bills are piling up.
Every day feels like a battle to keep the animals cared for.
We’re not asking for luxuries — we’re asking for the basics. Hay to fill their bellies. Feed to keep them healthy. Vet care to keep them safe.

If you can donate anything at all, it genuinely keeps us going. If you can share this post, it helps more than you know.
We’re fighting for our animals, but right now we need help to keep fighting. Every penny means so much
