💚Father’s Day 💚

Today we’re sharing this special photo of Archie and his dad, Craig, from one of the caravan holidays we were kindly given by a family during Covid, when Archie was poorly.

At a time when life was incredibly hard, that break meant so much to us. It gave us time together away from hospital appointments and treatment and just a break from the norm.

Even through everything Archie went through, he still smiled. He showed bravery no child should ever have to show, and his strength continues to inspire everything we do. We miss him more as each day passes but his legacy grows stronger 💚

Today we’re thinking of all the dads, grandads, stepdads and father figures especially those spending today in hospital, those grieving, and those trying to stay strong for their families.

Yesterday we had the privilege of visiting HMP Wealstun, where both staff and prisoners have chosen Archie’s Caravan as their Charity of the Year.

To say we were blown away would be an understatement.

The effort, organisation and genuine passion they have put into supporting us is incredible. They have already been busy fundraising through running challenges, bake sales, tombolas, plant sales, “guess the balloons in the Mini” competitions, runs and so much more.

And they are not stopping there, with plenty more planned for the rest of the year as they work towards their amazing target of £12,000.

What stood out most to us was how invested everyone was in understanding what Archie’s Caravan means to families. Every penny raised helps us provide free breaks for families facing childhood cancer, giving them time together away from hospital appointments, treatment and everything that comes with it.

A huge thank you to everyone at HMP Wealstun for choosing to support Archie’s Caravan and for putting so much heart into helping us continue Archie’s legacy.

We are incredibly grateful. 💚💚💚

On 17th June 2026, Team Wealstun will take on the Little Loop Challenge: To complete as many laps of a 3.5km circuit starting and finishing outside the prison as possible from 8am to 8pm.

People will be running, walking, jogging and just getting round the loop by whatever means possible to add to the total laps.

Today we say goodbye to Paul Childs.

Paul was a wonderful supporter of Archie’s Caravan and someone who gave his time, his voice and his heart to help others. Whether it was singing locally and donating the proceeds, or supporting us through flower sales, Paul always found a way to help.

His kindness helped us give families facing childhood cancer the chance to make precious memories together, and that means more than words can ever explain.

Paul played a part in Archie’s legacy, and for that we will always be grateful.

Our thoughts and love are with Paul’s family, friends and everyone who knew and loved him today.

Rest in peace, Paul. Thank you for everything. 💚

We wanted to share this video to show what Archie's Caravan means to families. We could never have imagined how many families we would reach or how it would evolve from a basic caravan into the next level lodge it is today.

Thank you to all our wonderful supporters and families who have helped make Archie's Caravan something we never thought possible.

Today marks five years since Archie was diagnosed with a brain tumour. We wanted to share this video to show people what Archie’s Caravan means to families.

We never could have imagined what Archie’s Caravan would become, how many families we would reach, or how the caravan would evolve from basic accommodation into a next-level lodge.

It’s thanks to all our wonderful supporters and families who have helped turn Archie’s Caravan into something we could never have dreamed possible.

Morley Leisure Centre recently took part in an incredible 24 hour challenge to raise funds for Archie’s Caravan and !

Their efforts raised a whopping £1291.55 for Archie’s Caravan! 👏 An amazing amount of money that will help us provide so many free holidays for families going through the toughest of times.

From non stop spin cycling and treadmill running to continuous swimming they will be really putting themselves through their paces! 🏊 🏃‍♂️ 🚲
