It’s that special time again! Thanks to all the hard work and care from our fantastic hardworking Filby Volunteer Bloomer’s, ( PLEASE GIVE THEM A THUMB’S UP) Filby is about to shine again with this year’s stunning plants—making our village one of the most colorful spots in the UK. Here they are waiting to be planted out! Come and see them soon! 180 hanging baskets. More than Babylon! + Over 25,000 plants!

ANOTHER GREAT SATURDAY MORNING IN THE FILBY IN BLOOM GREEN HOUSE, PLANTING UP A further 8500 of this years plug plants that will grow to make Filby look stunning again. Big thanks to all our wonderfully enthusiastic volunteer Bloomers. Also thanks to all those who helped raise funds to pay for the plants at the Easter Fayre.

Thank you to everyone who’s been asking about the date of our Open Gardens event, it will be held on 18–19 July 🌿🌸 And Easter Fayre 28 March Village Hall - see image below.

We’re also inviting more villagers to take part by opening their gardens. If you’d like more information, please send us a PM — we’d love to hear from you!

And don’t forget, plug planting starts next Saturday, 21 March. Please come along and join us.

CALLING ALL OUR FRIENDLY PLANT
GROWING ENTHUSIASTS.

Filby in Bloom are creating a new wildlife friendly display to support bees and other beneficial insects all year round. The display will be located on the main road near Filby Village Hall, where it can be enjoyed by residents and visitors alike.

To help bring this project to life, we are respectfully seeking donations of the following items:

Dwarf Budlia
Lavender
Mahonia
Abelia
Lungwort
Monada
Sedum
Perennial Wallflower
