A Special Thank you to everyone who visited Filby this weekend. We were blessed with great weather for the Truckers Convoy and the Fun day with our Annual Grand Fete. Thanks to all the stall holders who joined us we hope to see some of you at the FIREWORKS EVENT 1st Sunday in November.

Wonderful! The Truckers and their delightful passengers made that special return journey through Filby in Blooms excellent displays and passed our playing field where they held an important fund raising event a few weeks ago. Thanks to all the Truck drivers and to the many companies who supplied their vehicles for the excellent day these special children enjoyed.

🚨 PLEASE HELP SUPPORT ERIN’S IMPORTANT MESSAGE! 🚨

🌟 7-year-old Erin from the beautiful village of Filby, Norfolk, is on a mission to help make our roads safer! 🌟

After seeing vehicles speeding through the village, Erin decided she wanted to do something about it. So, using her own creativity, she designed, drew and painted a poster with a simple but very important message:

🚗 SLOW DOWN — DRIVE SAFELY! 🚗

For a seven-year-old to care so much about the safety of her community and take action is something we should all be proud of. ❤️

Filby in Bloom Announcement

We would like to reassure everyone that Filby in Bloom does not use mains tap water to irrigate our plants. We always use untreated water drawn from our private borehole, which is located deep underground. This method has the approval of Essex & Suffolk Water, the water supplier for Filby.

On a separate note, due to a recent health issue affecting one of our team, we are looking for a few additional volunteers to help drive our water bowser around the village over the next few weeks.

If you are able to spare some time and would like to help, please send us a private message.
