YOUR VILLAGE HALL NEEDS YOU.

Did you know that the Village hall runs a '200' club in Felton? This a small local lottery that funds reinvestment in local community activities.
As the current number of active members is dropping we need your assistance to help boost membership numbers and ensure it continues.

For the princely sum of £12 per year you are entered in to a prize draw each month to win a cash prize - with better odds than regular lottery competitions.
Prizes over the course of the year range from £100 to £10, with a total of 64 prizes issued each year - not a bad return for £1 per month!
If you’re interested, why not collect a form from village hall porch, or contact Marion Clark at [email protected]?
Marion runs the '200' club and will be happy to assist or answer any questions you might have.
Over the last few years the Felton Village Hall has benefited from items such as new external doors, chairs, etc from funds raised by the '200' club.

Is anyone prepared to part with a small table for use at the Village Hall, please?
Ideally rectangular and no more than 21" (43cm) wide but could be longer the other way and something like 30" (75cm) high.

During Sunday's film matinee (3pm start) there will be a special announcement. We will learn who has won the Little Felton Book Festival competition to 'Create Your Own Character' as a friend to Winnie-the-Pooh and his chums.

Also, we have very kindly been offered the loan of a stunning backdrop of the One Hundred Acre Wood for an opportunity to take photos in front of it, as if you were there. Don't forget your phones and cameras!

Centenary Film Matinee

In the same year tha Felton opened its Village Hall, the author A.A. Milne's character Winnie-the-Pooh appeared for the first time in a collection of short stories.

Join us to celebrate his birthday at 3pm this Sunday afternoon to watch this lovely family film by Disney.

Admission is FREE! There will be a cash and card bar, but please feel free to bring drinks and snacks for the children.

Do you have memories or family mementos of significant events that happened in your Village Hall prior to 2012? It seems that full records have not been kept any further back than that.

We would really welcome anecdotes and pictures, please. Newspaper articles have been checked but we don’t want to miss anything important.
