Jill the greyhound has made it into the Northumberland Gazette!

Retired greyhound Jill wins ‘best in show’ at Northumberland village fair

And here they are - Trevor's trusty tent team - taking everything back down on Sunday morning.

These are the same people who put everything up on Friday afternoon, were on the field from 7.30am on Saturday and stayed all day to help with various parts of the fair. Without these stalwarts the fair simply wouldn't happen.

If you have some time to spare over fair weekend next year - Saturday 10th July - and would like to help lighten the load then we would love to hear from you! Even an hour or two would make all the difference!

And that's it for another year!

Thank you to everyone who came to the fair yesterday - particularly the hardy bunch who stayed through the storm! Here is a small selection of photos - there will be more to come!

A massive thank you to the committee, who spend a huge amount of time each year pulling the fair together. Whilst it isn't always the easiest of jobs it is great fun, so if you are interested in getting involved for next year please get in touch.

More to follow...

So, let's think of types of animals whose name begin with L .....

Do I hear you say llamas and lambs?

Well, that's amazing as we have both at this year's Fair!

Worth the entry price alone!

See you there!

Time to dust off those trainers. Get your best PE kit on! Yes, the Fun Run will be happening again this year at the Fair.

A couple of tiny changes from last year - entry will now be on the day from 10.30am. And there will be an additional refreshment station at the Village Hall.

A huge thanks, as always, to Helen Poremba for making this happen (along with her merry team of stewards!) and Glen Mewett at Emblematic for his generous sponsorship!
