Have you ever wanted to learn how to draw, paint, collage or work creatively with pattern, stitch and fabric? I teach Art and Creative Textiles skills to absolute beginners in small and supportive classes and personalise activities to suit individuals. I go on location to teach Art outdoors at NGS gardens and private retreats and I'm always looking for interesting venues to take small groups of st
udents to. Wherever I base my teaching, it is always in a nurturing environment, where learners feel valued and empowered by the artistic work they make. Paramount to my teaching philosophy is the underlying aim to improve the long term emotional wellbeing of learners. On Saturday mornings from 2021 there is a KS 2 and 3 Art Club at 9.45 -11.15 am, £9 per session for anyone of 8 years and upwards. Activities might include painting, using 3D modelling materials, creative textiles, drawing, making rubbings and collage. I am fully DBS checked. Saturday classes in October 2020 from 11.45-1.45 pm are £20 each for a maximum of 5 learners and are a mixture of painting, drawing and development into textile design for anyone of 15 and above. One-off taster sessions available, please email contact@liveandloveart to make an enquiry. On Saturdays from 3.30 to 6.30 pm I offer fun, creative twilight workshops to celebration crowds of up to 5 people; hen, birthday, baby shower groups, at a venue of choice in Kent. Materials are included in the price per person and activities are designed to suit your taste and style. Project ideas could be to make a collaborative, decorative organiser for a new mother and baby, a hanging brooch cushion for a special relative, re-invent a pair of lacy undies to use as a hosiery organiser, jewellery case or lavender wardrobe pomander. Here's a fun hen activity and the ultimate in creative expression using clay - make your perfect man, or woman! Please email Jo on [email protected] for further details.
