Yi Xin Wushu Academy The Yi Xin Wushu Academy based in Frimley, Surrey is the first Yi Xin martial arts school to open its doors to the public.

Yi Xin Wushu was a concept founded in 2009 by a small group of wushu athletes based in the UK who wanted to promote the art by performing demos, hosting seminars and teaching classes. The group consisted of athletes from various different schools from all over the UK including Shaolin Temple UK, Chen Wu Kuan and Wu Tan international, several of them holding places on the British Wushu Team. Run by

Graeme Healy, a former British Wushu Team member and national champion, the classes comprise of traditional warmups and conditioning, training in Shaolin long fist boxing, Nanquan (southern fist) boxing, Qingda (semi-contact) and Sanshou (full contact) boxing, modern high performance wushu (nandu), Ch'i Kung and Taijiquan (T'ai Ch'i) internal boxing and several other traditional Kung Fu elements. Chinese Wushu is a fantastic way to get in shape, build strength and endurance, gain flexibility and agility and promote overall good health of mind and body so come along and have a look for yourself!
