Another fantastic night at 457 Farnborough! ✈️

We were lucky to welcome former cadet Chris Rosser, who brought along his ASW 19b glider and shared his journey into aviation, giving our cadets a real insight into gliding and where it can take you.

We also heard from Alan Rosser from Aerobility at Blackbushe Airport, who spoke about careers in aviation and how the skills gained through Air Cadets can open so many doors.

A really inspiring night, giving our cadets a glimpse into the world of civilian aviation and the opportunities ahead!🌍

March was a fantastic month at Farnborough Squadron! ✈️

It’s been incredible to see the hard work and dedication from our cadets pay off, with over 50 certificates and badges awarded 👏.

From classifications and first aid to radio, space, and more every achievement reflects real commitment and effort.

A special welcome to our newest cadets who have officially joined the RAF Air Cadets we’re excited to see you begin your journey and all that you’ll accomplish ahead.

A sad day today, as past and present members of the RAFAC, RAFA & RBL along with friend and family gathered for the funeral for Brenda Howard. A former member of squadron staff and most recently a member of the civilian committee at 457. Brenda was a friend to all she met and volunteered her time to support numerous local organisations.
