Christina Koch, a former Scout from the USA, is part of the crew for Artemis II, NASA’s first crewed Moon mission in more than 50 years—and with the launch set for tomorrow, this moment is officially real.

From campfires to the cosmos, her journey is a powerful reminder of where curiosity, resilience, and a spirit of adventure can lead. 🌍✨

Did you know? Around 60% of NASA astronauts have been involved in Scouting at some point in their lives—proof of the lasting impact of those early experiences.

Wishing Christina and the entire Artemis II crew clear skies and safe travels as they take this giant leap forward.

🐿️🔥 The 1st Cove Squirrels have taken over Group Camp!
From bug hunts to campsite exploring, tucking into lunch, and joining in loads of activities – it’s been non-stop adventure. Of course, no camp is complete without one of Skip’s famous campfires! 🔥✨

What a brilliant day for our youngest adventurers – full of smiles, discovery, and a little bit of mischief. 💚

Today is World Scarf Day, marking the 118th anniversary of Lord Baden-Powell's experimental camp at Brownsea Island and the birth of Scouting.

World Scarf Day is bot only to celebrate the anniversary of scouting but also to celebrate being part of a worldwide movement of over 57million young people and volunteers.

So if you are, or ever been in Scouting wear your Scarf/Necker with pride.

This weekend we attended a new event STACS, where Cubs, Scouts and Explorers from all over the District came together for all thing adventurous.

The Young People took part in Air Rifle Shooting, Tomahawk Throwing, Archery, Climbing and Survival Skills.
