🌟 VICTORIA DAY STALL APPLICATIONS CLOSE ON 13 MARCH! 🌟

Aldershot’s flagship Victoria Day event returns on Saturday 6 June, from 10am to 4pm - and we can’t wait! This fantastic free community event attracts around 15,000 visitors each year.
We’re now inviting high quality craft, gift, food and drink traders, along with local businesses and community groups, to apply for a stall. Stalls start from just £60.

You can also apply to join the carnival parade, perform on the stages or volunteer on the day!

We are pleased to let you know that we have selected both the leisure operator and the development partner that we will be working with to deliver a new leisure centre in Farnborough town centre.

Everyone Active has been appointed as the new leisure operator, and from 1 April the company will also run the council’s existing leisure facilities in Aldershot, including Aldershot Pools, Lido and Alpine Snowsports before taking on the new leisure centre once open, for a period of 15 years.

This week, the Cabinet has also approved plans to enter a development management agreement with Alliance Leisure Services Ltd to build the new leisure centre in Farnborough town centre. This is subject to be planning permission which will be considered by the council's Development Management Committee next week.

💙 We’re so proud of our student volunteers! They dedicate their free time to help people from all walks of life find a way forward, through some of the most challenging problems. Manish volunteered as part of our Summer Placement Scheme:

"Being a student volunteer at Citizens Advice Rushmoor has been an unforgettable and priceless experience. Knowing that I have helped individuals and families better manage their circumstances, whilst also acquiring extremely valuable skills regarding the law in practice, is something I have really cherish. It has also allowed me to speak to local leaders about issues within our community and try to challenge opinion to bring about change. I love volunteering and I am looking forward to continue being a member of Citizens Advice Rushmoor"
