🍂 Looking for trusted advice and support around SEND? Hampshire SENDIASS is offering a range of free October workshops for families, delivered by experienced Support Workers who provide impartial information and guidance.

They're also continuing to improve accessibility, with new short videos being added to their website to help young people and families better understand and access the education, health and social care support available to them.

🎉 That's a wrap for Fareham HAF! 🎉

We've had an amazing programme packed with activities including a nutrition workshop from Jen at Flourish Nutrition, swimming, paddleboarding, games, tie-dye, games, sports and lots of healthy meals have been cooked and devoured!

It's been fantastic to see so many young people getting involved and making memories along the way. There were plenty of tired faces by the end of each session, but even more happy ones!

A huge well done and thank you to our Fareham team for delivering such a brilliant programme 💙

We were back at Fareham Borough Council's Summer of Sport today with our smoothie bike, helping young people explore healthy choices in a fun and interactive way 🚴💙

At Motiv8, we're passionate about creating opportunities for young people to support their health and wellbeing. The smoothie bike is a great way to get conversations started around physical activity, healthy lifestyles, and the importance of looking after both physical and mental health.

It's always fantastic to see so many young people getting involved, trying something new, and enjoying being active in their local community.

What a great day at Fareham's Summer of Sport! ☀️⚽🚴

We were delighted to be invited by Fareham Borough Council to support this fantastic community event, which gives young people the opportunity to try different sports and activities throughout the summer.

Our smoothie bike proved incredibly popular, with 55 smoothies made during the day! 🍓🍌 Young people had lots of fun creating their own healthy drinks while learning about the importance of staying active and making positive lifestyle choices.

Events like these are a fantastic way to promote young people's health and wellbeing, encourage participation in physical activity, and bring the local community together in a fun and engaging environment.

We're looking forward to returning on 18th August for another Summer of Sport session and can't wait to see even more young people getting involved 💙

💙 Supporting Young People's Mental Health 💙

Are you a parent, carer, or professional looking to better understand and support a young person's mental health?

Rural Reach, delivered by Hampshire Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), offers a full day of practical sessions covering:

✅ Understanding adolescent mental health
✅ Anxiety
✅ Low mood
✅ Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA)
✅ 8 key skills to support a young person

📅 22 September – Bordon (FREE – funded by WBCT)
📅 21 October – New Milton
📅 22 October – Fareham
⏰ 9:30am – 4:30pm

🎟️ Tickets are £5 and include tea and coffee. Discretionary tickets are available for families on request.

🌟 A fantastic two weeks with our Fareham team and the young people attending the Kickstart Programme!

There was plenty of fun, engaging activities, and opportunities to build confidence and learn new skills. Well done to everyone who took part 👏
