Wickham Men's Shed REPAIR CAFE this Wednesday 10th June 10am till 1pm.

If you have any broken household items that are in need of repair, including small electrical items, furniture, hand tools and knives. Bring them along for us to have a look at and see what we can do.

Hot drinks and homemade cakes available.

Donations are accepted via card or cash.

We look forward to seeing you.

If you or anyone you know may be interested in joining the Wickham Men's Shed then popping along to the Repair Café is a great way to come and see what it's all about.

🌟 Volunteer Design and Planning Coordinator 🌟

Urgently needed

Do you have a knack for organisation and an eye for detail?
Are you able to offer a few hours when needed?
Are you retired and would be able to help with a little local project?
Or are you just starting out and need to add some quality experience to your CV?

Our friendly Men’s Shed is looking for a volunteer to help us prepare and submit planning applications for our next project...replacing our workspace area with a new building.

You’ll work with a welcoming team, make a real difference in our community, and help us create a space where men can connect, share skills, and support each other.

What you’ll do:
📅 Assist with gathering information and documents for planning applications
📍 Liaise with local authorities and our Shed members
💬 Help keep our project on track
📅 Work towards getting grants to build a community Sustainability Centre
📍 Local community-based group
💬 Friendly, supportive environment

Our project must be completed in draft form by end of May 2026 to be able to apply for a grant in June 2026.

Looking for a place to connect, share skills, and have a laugh while working on hands-on projects? Our Men’s Shed is a welcoming space where you can:
✅ Make and repair things together
✅ Learn new skills (or share your own!)
✅ Enjoy a cuppa and a good chat
✅ Be part of a supportive community

Whether you’re handy with tools or just curious to try something new, you’ll find a warm welcome here.

📅 When: Wednesdays 10am till 1pm
📍 Where: Wickham Community Centre, Mill Lane, PO17 5AL
✅ Membership is free, we just ask for a small donation for refreshments.
