Yesterday at Encounter we had our annual Adventure Day, brilliantly organised by Rob Moye and Ian Mayhew. It was also a privilege to be joined by our Divisional Leaders, Majors David & Jane Alton.

What a special day it was!

We spent time worshipping together, walking and chatting, sharing meals, praying, and journeying alongside one another. In the afternoon, everyone got involved in a range of fun team challenges that brought plenty of laughter and encouraged us to work together.

During the evening worship, many of our young people shared powerful testimonies about the difference Jesus has made and is making in their lives. It was such an encouragement to hear how God is at work.

We also enjoyed making dough crosses and cooking them over the BBQ before ending the day gathered around the cross in prayer. A simple but deeply meaningful way to finish our time together. To round off the evening, many of our young people chose to have an “I AM” glitter tattoo, a reminder of our camp theme and of the identity we have in Jesus.

We are so thankful to God for all He did yesterday, for the friendships that continue to grow, and for the opportunity to journey together in faith.

Please continue to pray for everyone at Encounter as we seek to know Jesus more and encourage one another in following Him.

Yesterday we saw the start of ENCOUNTER! We welcomed 71 young people from all over the division. Creative arts options started, games were played and laughter echoed around!
Please pray as we head into day 2!

Hello!
We are so excited that ENCOUNTER starts in 17 days! However, we are still wating for alot of Medical forms, please can these be filled out by Friday 17th July at the latest, to help us with our preparations for the week!
