Alternatively, if you're a Scout or Guide leader and would like the band to come and visit your group meeting to run a workshop, please get in contact.

🎺 Looking for a fun, rewarding activity for your child?

Fareham Scout Band is recruiting new members aged 8+! No matter whether your child is a complete beginner or already has some musical experience, we'd love to welcome them to our band.

As part of Fareham Scout Band, young people have the opportunity to learn new musical skills, build confidence, make lasting friendships, perform at local events, and be part of an amazing team.

Membership is open to young people aged 8 and over who are members of the Scouting Association.

What a great way to celebrate St George’s Day 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Fareham Scout Band were out on parade and did an amazing job – lots of energy, big smiles, and some brilliant playing all round. It’s always lovely to see our young people out in the community doing what they do best.

Tonight the band welcomed along 1st Catisfield Cubs to our weekly practice 🎶

The young members learnt all about the band and had a chance to try out our instruments. It was brilliant to see so much enthusiasm (and some brilliant first attempts at tunes too)!

Tonight we proudly celebrated one of our incredible leaders receiving her 40 year service award. District lead volunteer Mark Elbourn joined us for this celebration! A huge well done to Joy.

Meet the faces behind the band…

Fareham Scout Band was founded by Irene and Charlie Goddard in September 1981. The band leadership team now consists of Phil & Mark Goddard who continue to keep the family feel alive ⭐️
