I’m very late in posting for Day 2 of Hampshire Open Studios, but we can make it an early post for Day 3 instead 🤣.

Come along to The Square Yard in Warwick Lane Shopping Centre and see the multitude of crafts on show, and available to purchase. We’re open 11-4 every day… until 31st August.

There are also workshops taking place in A Good Yarn - Wickham in Bay Tree Walk

This is the life of one of our lovely traders. Isn’t this just normal …. As I stand over the cooker at 22.20 waiting for the Damson Butter to cook so that I can jar it 🤭

The bits you don’t see, was up at 5am doing prep for Summer in Lee this weekend before work and then came straight home and started again, still got loads to do so it’ll be a long night ahead but I wouldn’t change it, I love the build up to a big market, just hope it pays off!!! Thank you to keith for putting up with me taking over every inch of space in the house every weekend to do this 😬🥰

With Hampshire Open Studios – we just got recognised as one of their top fans! 🎉

Come join Wickham - a Hampshire Community, Wickham Chamber of Trade to celebrate the crafters in the local area. The weather, whatever that may be, won’t ruin your visit because you can find the celebrations taking place in Warwick Lane Shopping Centre, Bay Tree Walk. There will be workshops and demonstrations taking place throughout the 10 day period which starts this Saturday, 22nd August.

The bunting is up, balloons are blown up and ready to be hung. Displays are taking shape …there’s certainly a buzz of activity in the village 😊

The Square Yard have a few guest crafters:
HeatheR Art with her selection of hand painted pictures and cards, and also her beautiful fused glass art.
Sue's Greetings Cards and Photos has a selection of her amazing photography in various formats. Included in this display are her gorgeous photos of the Brown Bear, that she managed to catch whilst in Slovenia last year.
Jacqui Rose also has supplied us with a selection of her wonderfully detailed baby blankets which are also available to order.

We are starting to get ready for Hampshire Open Studios which starts this Saturday (22nd August) and runs for 10 days.

The Square Yard, A Good Yarn - Wickham, Creative Sparks Studio and Heather Reid Art have collaborated with Wickham Chamber of Trade to bring together local crafters to show off their products. Follow the pink balloons and bunting around the square to locate those involved. Numbers 213 (Bishops Waltham) and 220 (Wickham) provide the details of the venues.
