Food Parcels: For anyone who is struggling and needs help with food – either as a one off or to help you get through a difficult period. teacher, GP, social worker, support worker) who is working with you to complete our referral form. More 4 Less: For a £5 donation you will g

et at least £15 of items. Choose from fresh, frozen, tinned, packets, household & toiletries. All our volunteers have enhanced level DBS checks

What a joy it is to serve those around us! 💖

At the Waypoint Hub we love receiving donations from our local residents as we know they will bless our local community. For those who are finding things tricky at the moment, our community pantry and foodbank is open and continues to support. 👍

Meet another member of our incredible Waypoint Hub team! 😃

Here is Becki who creates content for our Waypoint Hub page.

When asked why she volunteers for the Hub, she replied, “The Hub is such a loving, warm and welcoming place to all of its guests and it provides such an important lifeline to so many. I believe that no one in our community should go hungry. I love being part of the Hub team as alongside our food contributions, we offer support, love and prayer to our guests.”

When asked what Becki has learnt since being part of the Hub team, she replied, “That all of us need help at some point in our lives. All of us need care, compassion, support and a warm smile to help us when things get tricky in life. At the Hub we are able to give our time, energy and support each week in a unique way as a team.”

Becki says the best thing about the Hub is being able to support others and be part of a loving team. When she contributes her time, she prays that her work will have a positive impact on the guests by informing them of things like opening times and events and cheering them up with the Wednesday posts on Facebook which often display our local community’s donations and kindness.

At the Waypoint Hub we are delighted to be opening our doors this week after our short summer break. 🎉

We will be open Tuesday 18th August 9am-12pm and Wednesday 19th August 9am-12pm. Come and join us for a warm welcome, a refreshing drink and toast and a comfortable sit down whilst we catch up with you. Let us support you with a listening ear, food and prayer if this is something you would like. 💖
