Could Adult Education Return to Portchester?

Summer is apparently imminent😎and the Community team is working in the background to gather your ideas for how the local commmunity might wish to spend the long autumn/winter evenings and Saturday mornings when the sun has gone back into hiding!

If an adult education class is of interest to you please read on and complete our short survey.

We have expanded the deadline until 3rd July to let more of you have a say.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Portchester Community School is exploring the possibility of reopening an Adult Education Hub for the community — with evening and Saturday morning classes for adults of all ages and interests.
We’d love to know:
✨ What classes would YOU like to see?
👩‍🍳 Cookery?
💻 IT & digital skills?
🎨 Arts & crafts?
🧘 Fitness & wellbeing?
🗣 Languages?
📚 Something completely different?
We’re also looking to hear from local tutors, instructors, group leaders, and skilled hobbyists who may be interested in running sessions on a voluntary or self-employed basis.
The school has great facilities including classrooms, a cookery room, and an IT suite — now we want to see if the community would support bringing adult learning back to Portchester.
📝 The survey only takes 5 minutes and your feedback could help shape something really valuable for our local area.
Whether you’d like to attend a class, teach one, or simply share ideas — we’d love to hear from you!
