Young Leader Rally 2026
We are delighted to announce that the Young Leaders’ Rally is back for 2026! It's a fantastic weekend event, organised by the County's Young Leader Team, for all of our Young Leaders to further their training, try new experiences, and make friends.

As well as taking part in learning sessions led by our teams to deepen their knowledge beyond the Young Leader Modules, they take part in activity sessions and social activities too.

When: 16th-18th January 2026
Where: Ferny Crofts Scout Activity Centre

Hampshire Scouts are running an Explorer Belt expedition to Norway and Sweden next summer, and we’re inviting Network members who would like to complete their Explorer Belt to form a Network team.

Provisional dates: 23 July – 3 August (± 1–2 days)

Compulsory training days/weekends:

• 10 January

• 20–22 February

• 19–21 June

• 18 July

• Evening of 4 October (presentation evening)

Cost: £1,200 (includes a 20% contingency)

With 2026 just around the corner, the UK Network Team have been developing the '26 in 26' challenge for Networks to complete throughout the year. And yes, there’s a physical badge!

The 26 in 26 badge has been made just for Network. To earn it, Networks need to create an A-Z list of activity ideas, with an activity beginning with each letter of the alphabet, to complete throughout the year.

Stuck for ideas? The UK Network Team will be sharing activities throughout 2026 via the activity finder, and on our Facebook and Instagram.

We’d love to see what everyone gets up to - we'll be sharing information on how to send us ideas, activities and photos soon.

For now, you can check out our badge page, keep an eye on Scout Store for the badge (launching in the new year), and start supporting your Network to plan their 26 in 26 challenge!

We've made a short survey, and we'd be very grateful if you could pass this on to any volunteers in your teams who work on international expeditions and may be able to help.

We also have a survey for those who have completed their Explorer Belt - so if you know anyone who ticks that box, we'd really appreciate it if you could pass it on to them.

Both surveys close on 22 December 2025.

Today the band led Netley's parade of remembrance from Royal Victoria Country Park.

Its always a privilege for our members to help remember those who have sacrificed their lives for our country. And its an honour to perform the Last Post and reveille.

A huge congratulations to Paul Jameson Aura - Celebrate Life on breaking four world records yesterday.

It was a privilege to have played for everyone there and to witness you successfully breaking these records and raising so much money for MND Association

We cannot wait to see what you get up to next.
