🤩 FOHC QUIZ NIGHT - NOW AVAILIABLE TO BOOK! 🤩

⭐️ Quiz Night to be held on FRIDAY 13TH MARCH 7PM-10PM ⭐️

⭐️ Come and test your knowledge with your friends and put your thinking caps on to take part in our quiz night! With our resident Quizmaster Pete Smith running the quiz as always, so you know you will be in for fantastic evening! ⭐️

👉 Teams can consist of 2 to 6 people (all members must be over 18 years old).
Tickets cost £5 per person and must be booked in advance via Scopay, which is now live and ready to use! If possible, please book your team together in one payment — this really helps us keep track of the number of teams taking part.

👉 Teams are welcome to bring their own alcoholic drinks to the event.
Our committee will be there on the night providing hotdogs, snacks, and soft drinks available to purchase, along with the chance to take part in a money-prize game! Please remember to bring cash if possible, although we hope to have card payments available too.

👉 We are expecting this to be very popular and table space is limited so team tables will be reserved on a first come first served basis so BOOK NOW to avoid disappointment! 👈

👏 Friends of Henry Cort – Thank You For Your Support This Year! 👏

⭐ With the end of the autumn term today, we have had a fantastic 2025 and would like to thank everyone who supported us in all our events this year! 👏

⭐ We have been able to support Henry Cort Community College with some extra elements in their events this year and in purchasing some much-needed items as requested by departments:

🎉 Christmas Crackers for the Students Christmas Lunch
🎨 Craft items to help with the Christmas Tutor Group Activities
📷 Photobooth for Year 11 prom
💪 New weights for our PE Department
👕 T-shirts for Creative Arts
♣️ Support for Extra-Curricular Clubs
❓ Weekly online quizzes for the tutor groups.

⭐ We look forward to continuing our support in these events next year and some new ones too!

⭐ We held our AGM meeting a few weeks ago and we were happy to have the current team of committee members staying on for the next year.

🎟️🏆 FOHC Christmas Raffle Complete! 🏆🎟️

🎄 Congratulations to all our winners today, we had a lovely selection of prizes donated by parents, staff and local businesses raising us a massive £706! 🥳

🎄 A big thank you to some local businesses below for their prize donations:

💇‍♀️ A free haircut and goodie bag donated by Strands Hairdressing

🏊‍♂️ A range of swimming, soft play and guest passes donated by Fareham Leisure Centre

🍬 Some delicious looking sweet cones donated by Queen of the Castle

🎄 Friends of Henry Cort Christmas Raffle! 🎄

🎄 Over the last week, students should have brought home 2 books of 5 raffle tickets (£1 per ticket, £5 per book) which we are selling to raise funds for projects to support our school!

🎄This year our top prize is a £100 Fareham Live Voucher (donated by Friends of Henry Cort), second prize is a £50 Bar & Block Voucher (donated by them) and third prize is an Alcohol Hamper (donated by members of staff), plus many other prizes donated by local businesses.

🎄 We hope you will support us with selling these tickets and we are asking for students to return these to the student reception with the ticket stubs completed and cash in an envelope (with the student's name and tutor group on), by no later than Thursday 11th December. We would appreciate you returning any unsold tickets as well so we can pass these on if anyone wants any further tickets to sell.

❌PLEASE NOTE: Due to gambling laws, only adults can purchase the tickets so please DO NOT put any student details on the ticket stubs as these will unfortunately be invalid for the draw. ❌

🎄 There will be additional prizes given to the student and tutor group who sell the most raffle tickets so please contact Mrs Hills ([email protected]) if you would like to request further raffle ticket books!

🎄 We would like to thank you all for your support in helping us raise funds for our school! Look out next week for posts about some of our amazing prizes and the local businesses who are supporting us!
