We are pleased to be screening One 's documentary No Trees No Seas at our Community BioBlitz Festival on 29th August at 8pm. 🐟🌲

A surfer's search for what is killing our seas leads him deep into the forest – and to an ancient truth: that the key to healing our seas lies on the land.

No Trees No Seas is a feature-length documentary revealing the hidden connections between trees and seas, and how bringing back our woodlands could be one of the most powerful things we can do to restore nature, both on land and at sea.

Join us for an evening of wildlife celebration at the Community BioBlitz Festival 🌙

We’ll be hearing inspiring talks from local nature enthusiasts, on topics from coastal biodiversity to blue health. There will also be a screening of PlantOne 's documentary, No Trees No Seas.🌲

We’re also excited to welcome Iman’s Syrian Kitchen cooking up a delicious vegetarian feast, washed down with Jacks Kombucha at the bar.

And for the night owls, there will be moth trapping before we head down to the beach at dark to explore the nocturnal life of rock pools under UV light. ✨

Introducing our Kilve Hub!

Kilve Beach is one of the least explored stretches of the North Somerset Coast, making it a particularly interesting site to record species. At low tide, limestone ledges reveal pools supporting crabs, snails, anemones, and small fish. 🐟

It’s also a Site of Special Scientific Interest, valued for both its rich geology and biodiversity. The beach is famous for Jurassic fossils, such as ammonites, which are often found on the shore.

Come and explore Kilve for yourself at our next event on September 12th.
