Club we can store sailing equipment in ‘The Belfry’ and hold most of our social events at the club. Photo showing a member of Blind at Sea on the harbourside, next to Pegasus, sporting the recently thoroughly cleaned and disinfected boat's toilet (heads) on his head. It is very droll.

At last a dry day. Started on the keel repair and cleaning the propeller ⛵️🥶

Hello, my name is Rory, and I am an architecture student at Falmouth University. I am currently conducting research for my dissertation, which explores how the embodied experience of sailing can inform and inspire architecture and the built environment. This form has been created to learn more about how members of the Blind at Sea sailing club adapt to sailing with a diverse range of abilities. The insights gathered will contribute to a broader discussion on how the sensory and physical experiences of sailing might influence the way we design and understand architecture. if you feel want to talk to me directly about this my email address is [email protected] ( no personal data will be recorded from this form just the answers ) https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfeK5FgrBu1NigI1GC5RHEDbGGNZb_IVcclL5H6qdGpgkHnTA/viewform

Thank you to St Just in Roseland Film Friday group! They recently had a cake sale and have kindly donated the proceeds to Blind at Sea!

Local community support is vital to us, it is how people find out about our work, it is the most effective way to recruit active members and the donations enable us to provide affordable sailing and rowing opportunities.

We are always grateful to the local organisations that support our work. This week we were given a very generous donation from facebook.com/PerranporthGolfClub . They raised the money through, raffles, a quiz and fines for breaches of golfing etiquette.
Ladies' Captain, Sally Andrew, is pictured here with our Bo's'n Niall handing over a cheque at our HQ. Sally was then treated to a short journey on the Mylor Yacht Harbour water taxi to view Blind at Sea's yacht, Pegasus.
