Good steady flow of visitors to the craft fair today! Some beautiful stalls, and the coffee and cake was popular as usual. Thank you to all the hard work today and the days leading up to the event…….and to all the people who came to spend their money!

While heading to niagara falls in Canada last month, I had to call in to the lovely house that is where the women's institute began! The lovely Barbara showed us around and was very proud to show us the actual table where the charter was written and signed. The ladies I met were thrilled to hear how our WI is thriving and wanted to send their regards to UK members. They gave me lots of leaflets and postcards, but wouldnt let me pay. They were just happy to meet international members 😊

Another great talk from our honorary Gylly Girl, Emma, the lady time traveller. This time honouring the roles that women took during WW2 as our nod to VE Day and VJ Day. Lots of our ladies got into the mood by dressing up too 🥰

What a treat at our meeting last night! Emma, the lady time traveller could have talked to us for hours more. Definitely recommend her as a speaker, we will be having her back to explore another of her time travels soon 🥰
