The Art of Tree Planting

A small group of artists, concerned by the appalling damage to thousands of trees in Cornwall due to Storm Goretti, have decided to hold an art exhibition that will raise funds for Plant One CIC, to support establishing more trees in our county.

The show will be at Rock Institute, Rock PL27 6JZ , from Tuesday 9th to Sunday 14th June. Entitled “June Light", it will feature the work of 4 painters and 2 potters. The artists will donate 15% of the proceeds across the show to Plant One, and in addition there will be a table of small artworks at low prices, 100% of which will go to Plant One.

The artists are Harriet Halstead, Philip Halstead, Sally Jones and Nicky May, and the potters are Kate Sheriff and Jane Suchodolski. The work on show will range from finely decorated tableware and exquisite ceramic birds, to watercolours full of wind, wave and weather, oil and pastel portraits of animals and people, strong abstracted oils of coast and cliff, and colourful subjective paintings of tree and leaf. Entry is free and there is parking available at the Rock Institute.

The exhibition will be open daily from 11am to 5pm and all are invited to a "Meet the Artists" event with tea, coffee and cake from 2-5pm on Sunday 14th June where there will also be more information available about the heroic work of Plant One.

Happy World Ocean Day! What better way to mark the Occassion than celebrate our partnering with for our campaign. The team over there have given us incredible support for the work required to heal our seas. Including producing a great new limited edition shirt and giving the campaign a front and centre spot in all the stores. We're also screening our documentary at their locations around the UK this coming Thursday and Friday. Check out the link below to book tickets.

The UK is one of the most nature-depleted countries on earth.

Without habitat, wildlife disappears – including the pollinators our food system depends on.

If your business wants to do something about that, Plant One makes it straightforward.

We partner with companies of all shapes and sizes to restore woodlands here in the UK.

You can visit the sites, meet the landowners, get your team involved, and we'll give you honest updates and real numbers so you can see the difference your support is making.

There are three ways to get involved: a long-term corporate partnership, donating a percentage of your sales, or balancing your carbon emissions. We'll help you figure out what fits.

Get in touch if you'd like to find out more.
