We had a fantastic evening at the Cornwall Drama Association Awards Night, celebrating the incredible talent, passion and dedication that makes Cornish community theatre so special.

We’re absolutely delighted to announce that our 2026 production of Legally Blonde received three awards!

(This is Miriam's second time winning this award!)

🏆 CDA Award for Best Choreography in a Musical or Pantomime
✨ Young Generation – Legally Blonde

We’d like to give a special shout-out to our amazing choreographer, Samantha Taylor! Sam’s choreography is exceptional year after year and we’re so thrilled to see her talent recognised with this award. Sam has an incredible ability to bring out the very best in our cast, supporting them every step of the way and playing such a huge part in the success of our productions. We honestly couldn’t do it without her!

A huge well done to everyone involved in Legally Blonde. These awards are a wonderful celebration of the hard work, commitment and talent that went into bringing the show to life. We’re incredibly proud of you all!

We’re busy putting plans in place for our 2027 production of Disney’s Newsies! Keep your eyes peeled, rehearsal and audition information will be released next week. We can’t wait to get started! 📰💫

Our wonderful Treasurer, Dave, will be trekking an incredible 100km across the Sahara Desert in just 5 days to raise money for the amazing Truro branch of the Samaritans.

To help with his fundraising, Dave is holding a Charity Auction & Pint and Pasty Evening at the Old Ale House, Truro, on Friday 23rd October.

Hosted by the one and only Betty Stogs, it promises to be a brilliant evening full of laughs, great prizes and, most importantly, raising money for a fantastic cause! 🍻

🎁 Can you donate a prize?
If you have a prize, experience or voucher to donate to the auction, we’d love to hear from you. Please get in touch!

🎟️ Tickets are still available, so come along, have a great night and help us support Dave on his incredible challenge!
