A former church building, Erskine Community Halls provide a flexible selection of vibrant spaces for local events – continuing a tradition that made the building the heart of the community for more than a 100 years. A variety of rooms and halls, as well as the former church sanctuary, offer a range of capacities and us

age – and all are available for rental either on an ongoing basis or for a one off event. Erskine Community Halls has been approved by the local authorities as a marriage venue. With its grand entrance, aisles and Victorian architecture it is a perfect backdrop to such a special event. Equally its historic sanctuary lends itself to the dignity required for funeral services and commemorations, with separate rooms available for privacy. For families wishing to make a special event out of a non-religious celebration for the naming of a new baby Erskine has the facilities. And the selection of separate halls, entrances and kitchen offer flexible spaces for parties, events, meals and regular meetings and classes.

The Sanctuary and Vestibule

The heart of the former church, this beautiful and imposing space can seat up to 600 people but also lends itself to more intimate events.

Beautifully carpeted and fitted out with the original fittings – including a fully functional church organ, the sanctuary is welcoming and special.

The Celebration Hall
This long and light hall, with direct kitchen access, is ideally suited for receptions. It can be configured with seating and table space for 70 to 80 people.


Other rooms
A range of other rooms are also available, including: The Session Room, the Retreat and the Campbell Room, all smaller light and quiet spaces with side access; and The Art Hall, a long, light and airy room, slightly separated on the first floor.

There is a fully equipped kitchen and separate disabled and male and female toilets at ground floor level.
