“25 years on and still needed” was the theme for this years International Overdose Awareness Day and it truly is still needed. We had a somber gathering today at Callendar Park and heard some poignant words from our speakers. We met at the remembrance tree to remember those loved ones we have lost to overdose and gathered at the pond to say a prayer and throw roses in memory of those loved ones.

It was a sad farewell yesterday at Rainbow House as we hosted our last Sunday cafe there. There was a good turnout a lot of chat and reminiscing. We had a lot of fun with lovely food and even had time for a Christmas sing song. Big thanks to Rae and Maureen for all their support over the years. We will be opening up a new Sunday cafe in the Stirling area soon.
