I had a great time at the April Coffee Morning organised by Carronshore Heritage Forum!

A full room at the Community Centre with Barbara providing a fantastic introduction to Otago exercises focusing on falls prevention ahead of tea, coffee, sandwiches and other treats being served.

Meeting people as they come together in the community is the best part of the job. There is a different presentation at the coffee morning each month, well worth a visit if you are free.

Exactly one year ago today the Grangemouth Oil Refinery ceased production after over a century of operation.

A site which sustained 3000 jobs, that contributed over £400m to the economy per annum and produced 70% of this nations fuel - gone.

The first oppprtunity to commemorate at the new memorial at the top of Bellsmeadow Park.
