We're so excited about the possibility of transforming Polmont Community Hub, and we need your help to make it a reality! We're in a funding competition, and if we win, this funding will help create a truly beautiful and welcoming space for our 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆.

We're committed to leaving a legacy, knowing that we're borrowing this space from the next generation. We are delighted that Polmont Community Hub has been shortlisted for a community Fund with the opportunity to receive £30,000 to transform part of the outdoor space into a community garden and more. This is a UK-wide vote, and we are the only shortlisted project in Scotland. We now need your votes!

The project with the most votes will receive the Community Bloom Fund to help bring their ideas to life.

The winning community will also receive a special gift; Seed packets will be sent to local schools, helping even more ideas take root and grow.

Nine years ago today, on 16 June 2016, Jo Cox was murdered while on her way to a surgery in her constituency.

The Jo Cox Foundation share Jo’s belief that, together, we can strengthen communities to become less lonely, better connected, and more united. Next weekend communities will be celebrating what unites us and rejecting division at Great Get Togethers across the UK, inspired by Jo’s “more in common” message.

Falkirk Council have supported the organisation of a local event at Polmont Community Hub this Sunday 22nd. Lots on offer and all are welcome 🤗

We are honoured to be involved in this event along with lots of lovely groups and people. This will be a fabulous event for the whole community to come together.

A special event next month will bring a community together as a politician is honoured.
