People with dementia and their families have taken over the Big Issue this week for this special edition.
To coincide with World Alzheimer's Month, we have given a platform to people impacted by the disease – both carers and those living with a diagnosis.
Throughout the magazine are stories of resilience, inspiration and adaptation, alongside messages from dementia groups across the UK that aim to bust myths and reframe thinking.
To make the magazine as dementia-friendly as possible, our design has been adapted using modified fonts, colour palettes and styles.
