Could you help keep our Community Centre thriving?
I loved my retirement gift from the committee of Reddingmuirhead Community Centre. (See photo below)
I joined the committee over 40 years ago and have had the privilege of watching the hall grow into the thriving,vibrant community centre it is today.
The hall is much more than just a building . Throughout the year it provides a place for so many different activities and occasions - from playgroup and yoga to judo and craft groups, as well as meetings, celebrations and family events. It brings people of all ages together and provides a valuable space for our local community.
But to keep all of this going we need more people to join the committee.
I have now retired as unfortunately I am not able to help as much as I used to. We urgently need some new committee members to share the responsibility and help ensure that the hall continues to be available for the many groups,families and organizations who rely on it.
Don’t be put off by the word ‘committee’. It’s not as demanding as you might think. We only meet occasionally when needed and much of our communication is simply be email etc.
You dont need to have special experience or lots of spare time -
Just a willingness to help and an interest in keeping this important community resource going.
If you could spare a little time, please consider joining us.. a few more people getting involved could make a huge difference and help ensure that Reddingmuirhead Community Centre continues to be a place where our community can meet,learn, exercise,create and celebrate for many years to come.
