Red Bridge Removal and Path Closure

From Monday 15th June 2026

Eyemouth Harbour Trust will temporarily remove the Red Bridge to undertake essential repairs and refurbishment works after routine maintenance identified a failure in the bridge’s hydraulic system. To support a resilient long-term solution, the Trust is currently scheduled to remove the bridge on Monday 15 June 2026, subject to weather and final operational arrangements.

Pedestrians are advised to follow the marked diversion routes. Full details of the path closure and maps of the diversion will be available when the closure is in place here on Scottish Borders Council website - https://www.scotborders.gov.uk/downloads/download/357/path-closures

After a lot of hard work, emails, phone calls, our team of volunteers have managed to get one of our toliets back up and running again - along with the disabled cubicle.
We will update once all 3 are all working.
We appreciate everyones patience.

AGM - Everyone welcome!
Cake, cuppa & a catch up about the fantastic work within Splash
From the Larder, Community Cafe, groups and events, we have lots to share. If you are involved in any of these, we would love for you to come along, have a natter & hear all about the past year and ideas for the future too.
We will pop posters up through the town but would really appreciate a wee share of this post too
