Application forms are now available for our next round of grants.

If you belong to a local group or organisation or have a local project in mind and think that we might be able to help, please contact us via email or collect an application form from the Book Barn when it's open.

All completed forms to be returned by 30th June, please.

NB. Your application must be for a specific project, we do not contribute towards running costs.

Have you already booked your holiday for this year? Is it to be a staycation or are you looking to travel further afield? This month, as part of our journey through the National Year of Reading, we are highlighting travel. We have guidebooks for the UK and for many parts of the world, as well as a large selection of traveller’s tales, also from all over the world. Do pop in and browse through the selection. After all there’s nothing to stop you dreaming about some of the far-flung destinations you read about, even if you don’t think that you’ll ever get there.

Owing to the unavailability of volunteers, Eyam Book Barn will only be open between 2pm and 4pm tomorrow, 15th February. We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause.
The shop will be open from Wednesday to Friday next week, 11ish to 4ish.

Come and find your next read at Eyam Book Barn. The easy way to find authors new to you, to explore the world, find new interests and more.

Over the winter break we will be re-stocking and refreshing our shelves, come in and see what gems you can find.

Eyam Book Barn reopens on Saturday 14th February.

Winter Opening Hours

Weekends: There will be volunteers in the shop from 12 noon to 4pm
Wednesday to Friday: The shop will be unattended but open 11am until 4pm

Eyam Book Barn will close for the winter break at 4pm on Sunday 21st December and will re-open in time for the February Half Term holidays on Saturday 14th February 2026.
