These beautiful bags have been lovingly created from recycled sailcloth by Sails & Canvas in Topsham. We use these bags regularly at Beach School for beach cleans, as well as carrying equipment and snacks to our sessions.

On Monday evening, we had the absolute pleasure of hosting a rockpooling session for the 4th Withycombe Raleigh Girl Guides.

It was a sunny evening filled with fun, exploration, and close-up encounters with some of the incredible sea life we have here in Exmouth, including jellyfish, shrimps, fish and crabs. The girls also learnt more about the different types of shells found on our beach and how to identify them.

Did you know that we offer free sessions to community groups and schools? It’s the charity’s mission to help more children experience the beach and coast, especially those who may not otherwise have the opportunity.

We’re excited to announce that our next block of Starfish Explorer sessions (0–5 years) and Beach Babes sessions (0–12 months) will be released on Sunday 1st February 🐚

These sessions have been incredibly popular, so we’re giving you advance notice to give everyone a fair chance to book. Spaces are limited to keep sessions small, friendly, and accessible ~ and to allow us to run year-round, whatever the weather!

As a charity, we keep our session price minimal so as many families as possible can join us. Unfortunately, we’re unable to offer a waiting list, and we’ve found that booking in advance helps reduce no-shows — ensuring spaces are used by families who can attend.

This next release will cover sessions up until Easter, with the following block released after that.
