Excited about this awesome event ending at Sideshore tomorrow. Hope to see you there 🚒

Pop along on Sept 1st to support our Firefighters as they pull the 18 tonne truck along the sea front!

Starting at Rockfish at 11am, the crew will be pulling the truck all the way to Sideshore, where there will be a donation entry event showcasing other emergency services vehicles & charity stalls!

Come along & donate to some really worthy causes!

(Please note traffic may be increased for the duration of the pull, a traffic management system will be in place)

SaltFest 2026 🏊 sunrise dips, parkrun, open-water badges, rescue demos, beach flags and a raft race that tested the limits of both creativity and buoyancy! Then a full day of swimming out in the bay.

Congratulations to Atlas for completing all six Beach Heroes missions this summer! Along with his brother, and so many others, he’s enjoyed taking part in sea swimming, water safely, habitat education, a beach clean, mindful walk and artistic challenge over the school holidays.

If you’ve finished your Beach Heroes missions, don’t forget to pop into the Hub to pick up your certificate and key ring 🩵

Join us for Young Persons Connect

Excited to announce our upcoming event where we dive into Modules 1-3 of the Young Persons Connect 5 program!

Duration: 8 Hours

Platform: Face to Face

What is Young People - Connect 5?

Connect 5 is an evidence-based training programme designed to promote mental health by changing the way we have conversations about mental wellbeing.

It is comprised of three modules, each incremental in terms of skill development.

- Builds personal resilience and self-awareness
- Strengthens communication and listening skills
- Develops confidence in having supportive wellbeing conversations
- Introduces practical tools that can be used immediately in everyday roles
- YP C5 uses the same evidence base, models and structure as the adult version, with a specific focus on children and young people.

Available to those aged 16 or above who are currently living, working and/or studying in Devon.
