Exmouth Beach Rescue Club

Exmouth Beach Rescue Club Exmouth Beach Rescue Club is a registered charity (No. 1025654) providing voluntary lifeguarding services to the thousands of visitors to Exmouth Beach.

Founded in 1986, Exmouth Beach Rescue Club provides a voluntary lifeguard service in the areas of Maer Rocks and Orcombe Point. We train every Tuesday night throughout the year, and use Sundays in the winter to keep our water skills well practiced. During the summer months, we patrol every Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday. As a charity, we rely solely on donations to meet our running costs and to pr

ovide essential training and equipment. As well as the services we provide locally, we also provide lifesaving cover for national events such as the London, Blenheim and Hyde Park triathlons. Thank you for visiting our page - please press 'Like' to keep up to date with what we are getting up to.

This half Term, remember this coastal safety message:
To stay safe at the coast,
always check local tide times and weather and choose a lifeguarded beach to swim between the red and yellow flags.
If you fall into cold water unexpectedly, remember the mantra: Float to Live: lean back, submerge your ears, and keep calm.
In an emergency, dial 999 and ask for the Coastguard.
