Pointer girl Nora was picked up at the end of May, nervous and skin and bones.
A few days of good food and loving care, and she's coming out of her shell and starting to play 😍

Sadly, the vet thinks she's been hit by a vehicle, so she'll have an operation to stabilise her back legs.
The prognosis is her mobility should be quite good as long as her weight is kept in check.

Once she's stabilised and has her op, she'll be looking for a loving home to give her the care and attention she deserves, and encourage that playful, fun side that's already showing through, even though she must be in pain.

The very beautiful Raven has settled in wonderfully at the rescue, she's such an all round lovely, friendly and affectionate girl, she loves her kennel mates and is playful young girl.....
Raven is a medium sized female about 24kg and a younger girl about 18 months old, she was recently brought into our care from a local vet after being found abandoned and no owner could be found, she's clearly lived with people in the past as she's so friendly....
Raven walks fairly well on her lead and will be spayed next week along with her blood tests, vaccinations and passport so she's ready to travel for the right family....

Lovely Lucia has arrived in foster in Swadlincote, in the UK.
She's settling in well. Foster mum says she's very gentle and sweet, affectionate and clean in the house. Loves her other dog !
