The grand opening of the new climbing wall at our Scout HQ on Marsh Barton, made possible by a generous donation from Exeter Property Ball. The climbing wall will be used by local beavers, cubs and scouts, enabling them to learn team building and gain confidence.

Looking forward to arranging a visit for our Exminster members! We have recently used other brilliant facilities at Scout HQ, including archery, fencing and shooting. We’re lucky to have this just down the road!

Over 50 of Exminster’s Scouts, Cubs and Beavers as well as Guides, Brownies and Rainbows took part in the village Remembrance Day Service on Sunday.
It’s an important date in our calendar and we are delighted to be joined by so many Scouting families to pay our respects each year.

Congratulations to Martin, one of the Exminster Cubs leaders. Tonight he was given his Chief Scouts Award in recognition of 40 years of service to Scouts!

Young people in scouting would not have as much fun and adventure without the dedication of volunteers like Martin, so a big thanks from all of us, and all of the many Exminster cubs and scouts he has supported over the years.

The Exminster Cubs and Scouts had a fantastic time at camp this weekend!

The money raised at the Exminster fireworks subsidises opportunities like this throughout the year, giving our village children the chance to try amazing activities and develop their confidence, social skills and life skills.

We hope you’ll turn out in force the enjoy the fireworks and support Exminster Scouting once again this year 🎆⚜️

As you will likely be aware, a fire earlier this week destroyed the 5th Exmouth Sea Scouts hut.

The building has been a key base for activities, training, and events for local young people for many years - and held not just memories bit a lot a key equipment including kayaks, camping gear and more collected over many years by the group.

The Scouts now face the challenge of replacing equipment, finding temporary facilities, and rebuilding their home.

Refreshing fun for the Exminster cubs at Topsham Pool tonight!

Exminster’s cubs had a brilliant time at District Camp this weekend. We joined 150 cubs from across Exeter for an action packed 2 night camp in Somerset. Highlights included caving, tomahawk throwing, leather woggle crafting, air cannons and a big campfire singalong!
