We had a break in on Thursday, fortunately there's nothing of value in the hall, so nothing taken and not much damage done, just some tyre marks on the floor. Please keep an eye on the hall if you're out walking in mincinglake park and report any suspicious activity.

Apologies for the massive delay in updates, ECC have done detailed surveys of the building which have shown much more extensive work than the original survey had prepared us for. The council recognises the community value of the hall, but as the sums involved to bring it back into use (or make fit to hand over to us) are much larger than expected, we need to wait for more meetings and decisions from them. For the moment all we can do is wait.

Apologies, it has been a long time since our last update. The committee have been doing a lot of work behind the scenes and this is very much an active project, but we still have a bit more to do before there will be a proper update we can share.

In the meantime please bear with us, as once we have the go ahead there will be a lot of jobs where people are needed to help and we want to be able to spring into action as fast as possible when that time comes.
