We’ve been pretty quiet lately — and here’s why. We’ve had the absolute honour of working with the legendary Dave Hillis on our upcoming EP. This is the man behind records from bands like Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains and Temple of the Dog, among so many others. It’s a true privilege to have him involved with Hole Tripper.

Over the last few months, Dave has really been putting us through our paces during pre-production, and the songs are evolving into something genuinely special thanks to his advice, experience and guidance.

This week, we finally hit the studio with our good friend Dave Knox at Source Studios Exeter to begin unleashing the first track. From 8am through to 9pm, Dave went above and beyond, and we truly appreciate every bit of effort he put into the session.

Watch this space while the Dave duo work their magic, capturing Hole Tripper in its rawest and most vintage form yet.

Hey I am Amelie, 22 year old bassist from Devon. I started playing guitar at 13 and became hooked on music. At 15 years old I moved down to Devon and got into contact with Nick at MIDI. He got me my first gigs and I truly fell in love with performing and being on stage. After lots of practice, a few years later I moved to London to study bass guitar and networked hard, making sure I was taking up every gig I could! I managed to get my foot in the door through an artist I was playing for and through word of mouth I am now playing for up and coming pop artists. This year I have been all around Europe and played arenas for the first time! I have lots of festivals coming up this summer and tours booked in for the rest of the year! I am looking forward to it and I am very grateful to be working in what I love.
