Chinese New Year was marked in style this evening. Sheila Yau, a local dance teacher, brought several of her friends to give us an insight into how New Year is celebrated, including a dancing demo. Those of us brave enough to have a go found it more difficult than it looked! Chinese snacks accompanied our cuppas so it was a really good evening.

Topsham residents recently witnessed Newcourt WI members, deeply engrossed in pieces of paper and street signs. Why? We were on a Treasure Hunt! It was fun, tricky and interesting, resulting in everyone meeting up at the Globe with completed answer sheets. A great way to spend an August evening.
