Q***r joy is powerful
⭐️ It’s community.
⭐️ It’s safety.
⭐️ It’s belonging.

But here’s the reality:
LGBT+ causes receive just 0.1% of UK charitable income — that’s 10p in every £100 donated.

24% of LGBT+ groups have no income.
68% of organisers have used their own money.

Joy is being powered by people who shouldn’t have to fund it alone.

This Pride, give £10 or more to power q***r joy.

The LGBT+ Fund, powered by Consortium are excited to share that we have several funds going live over the coming months!

First to be launched in June will be our LGBT+ Fund; London Fund thanks to a Strategic Transition Award from City Bridge Foundation looking to support LGBT+ organisations and groups working across London!

In July we will then be launching our UK wide Grassroots Fund, thanks to the generosity of our Donor Circle and attendees of last years City for LGBT+ event run by our partners at Give Out.

And finally we have two further funds, one focused on physical activity and one on Q***r youth joy, coming later into the summer!

None of these would be possible without the ongoing support from our partner organisations and donors - THANK YOU 🙏🏽

Grassroots LGBT+ organisations are the backbone of communities across the UK and they deserve funding that reflects that.

At the LGBT+ Fund, we believe how we fund matters just as much as what we fund.

By working relationally and collaboratively with the organisations we support, we aim to centre care, trust, and lived experience decision making in every step of the process.

Because meaningful funding isn’t just about resources - it’s about listening, sharing power, and backing communities to lead their own change.

Last week, during Le***an Visibility Week 2026, our LGBT+ Fund Development Manager Emma had the privilege of attending a powerful and inspiring event at the London Stock Exchange in partnership with DIVA Charitable Trust.

From the celebratory market close led by Dame Julia Hoggett and Lady Phyll Opoku-Gyimah to impactful conversations on inclusive workplaces and allyship, the evening was a reminder of the importance of visibility, representation, and collective action for LGBTQIA+ women and non-binary people.

“It was a night where I felt my cup being filled… and a renewed fire to push boundaries and work collaboratively for a better future.”

⭐ 43 frontline LGBT+ organisations

The LGBT+ Fund, powered by Consortium are proud of what we have distributed to LGBT+ voluntary and community organisations across the UK in 2025!

We’re proud to celebrate this year’s DIVA Magazine Power List 2026 and are delighted to see so many of our members, funders, and partners recognised in this year’s list, a powerful reflection of the collective work happening across the LGBTQIA+ sector.

We are especially thrilled to see our very own Emma Miller-McCaffrey recognised in the Role Model category 🌈

Emma (she/they), LGBT+ Fund Development Manager at LGBT+ Consortium, manages the LGBT+ Fund, powered by Consortium, building sustainable funding streams which support grassroots LGBTQIA+ organisations. With a background in partnerships, fundraising and diversity training she brings both expertise and passion to her work.

An experienced speaker and consultant, Emma has delivered LGBTQIA+ and domestic abuse training to major institutions, was the founder of QPR FC's Rainbow Rangers LGBT+ supporters group and also volunteers with Adoption UK leading their LGBTQIA+ online support network.

Their impact in inclusion and advocacy continues to inspire across our sector. Congratulations to Emma and everyone featured 👏

Why not donate £100 to the LGBT+ Fund and help us resource some amazing LGBT+ charitable and volunteer led organisations like Transpiration Wellbeing.

Transpiration Wellbeing is a project that centres community, wellbeing and nature in partnership with The Lancashire Wildlife Trust.

““As a trans person, to be able to bring wellness and nature together into a
safe space for us to connect with each other and nature is really beautiful. it's also really important to me to be bringing inclusivity and diversity to a small place, especially where being q***r isn't as widely accepted”

If you can donate £100 please head to https://donorbox.org/lgbt-fund-donor-circle and donate to our Donor Circle Grassroots Fund today
