The LGBT+ Fund: Youth Joy Fund is now OPEN to applications.

Thanks to National Lottery players, Consortium has received £300,000 of life-changing funding from The National Lottery Community Fund to award to organisations and groups supporting LGBT+ youth across England. This Fund puts LGBT+ young people in the driving seat of designing and driving an LGBT+ Youth Joy Fund.

This has been awarded from The National Lottery Community Fund’s new You Decide programme - involving communities directly in decisions about funding good causes. You Decide is key to the funder’s efforts to put community power, agency, and control at the heart of its funding in England - supporting communities to live happier, healthier lives. This truly life-changing funding has been made possible by National Lottery players.

This funding is for organisations in England currently supporting LGBT+ young people aged 11-25 to foster youth joy, belonging, and positivity building through projects, trips, and other enriching experiences. Grants can be requested between £5,000 and £25,000 for up to 18 months of delivery.

Organisations must have been working with young people for at least two years. We will accept applications from wider organisations/groups that have pre-existing LGBT+ youth provision if they can demonstrate that supporting the community is a large element of the work that they do andare addressing a need in the community or working in areas with less LGBT+ provision.

Applications for our new LGBT+ Fund: Get Active Fund are now OPEN and will close on Wednesday 4th November at 12 noon.

The Get Active fund will award a total of £400,000 over 2 years, to UK based LGBT+ sports and physical activity groups. It is being delivered by the LGBT+ Fund, alongside a steering group comprising of those with experience in LGBT+ sports and physical activity communities.

Funding will focus on increasing physical activity participation in LGBT+ communities, particularly for individuals who are inactive and facing barriers. In this context ‘physical activity’ means any activity that intentionally and explicitly facilitates increased physical movement and wellbeing.

This is your reminder that you only have one more week to apply to our LGBT+ Fund: Grassroots Fund.
 
Delivered by the LGBT+ Fund and in partnership with the LGBT+ Fund Donor Circle and City for LGBT+ donors, the fund will award £28,093 to grassroots LGBT+ organisations and groups across the UK with an income of £10k and under.
 
Eligible organisations and groups can apply for grants between £500 - £2,000 for costs towards strengthening their organisation such as comms and marketing training, fundraising support, leadership development, burnout-prevention support or office essentials.
