If you’ve ever taken part in an Eat That Frog programme, there’s a good chance you’ve heard one of our Mentors say:

“You’re never too old to learn.”

And our wonderful Mary is a perfect example of that.

Mary, along with colleagues, recently took part in a Supported Employment Practitioner Skills Bootcamp, delivered through Economy, Enterprise and Skills at Devon County Council as part of the Government’s programme.

The bootcamps are designed to help people develop new skills at any stage of their working life, and Mary had this brilliant message to share:

“Don’t let age be a barrier. We never stop learning. The longer I stay in work, the younger I feel. I’d recommend it to anybody, no matter what age.”

We’re really proud to see our own team continuing to learn, grow and develop too.

Because whether you’re 18, 48 or 78, there is always something new to learn and somewhere new to go.

Train4Tomorrow’s free Skills Bootcamps have been praised for ensuring age isn’t a barrier to training.

A beautiful quote from one of our Youth Hub Participants 🐸❤️

22/09/2026

In our Wellbeing Club this week, our Youth Hub Participants will get the chance to meet Lord Ashley Warren, who's a Motivational Speaker and Writer.

Lord Ashley has overcome significant challenges in his life and transformed his experiences into a positive force for change. His inspiring journey is a powerful example of resilience, determination, and personal growth.

We're sure he'll have plenty of wisdom, encouragement, and life lessons to share with our young people, and we can't wait to hear his story.

Across our specialist post-16 provision, we work with young people with SEND to build confidence, independence, employability and the skills they need for adulthood.

Every learner’s journey is different, and every step forward matters. We’re proud to see that work recognised.
