Hello beautiful humans!

Our next meeting will be Friday 24th July at 10-12 at the wonderful ๐Ÿฅโ˜•

We would love to see you if you can make it. If you would like to join give us a message ๐Ÿ’•

Access info:

Sacred Grounds is on a ground floor level, with a calming interior and lots of plants. Part of the cafe is inside, and part is semi-outside through the arcade where the cafe is based. There are usually blankets avaible, but be prepared it might be chilly, and provide the perfect opportunity for one of their amazing hot drinks!

They have a disabled toilet, as well as regular ones which are through a separate door to the left of the cafe frontage when you are approaching. You need to request a key fob to use these.

It can get busy (because their food and drinks are amazing) which can create some noise, but this is no worse than many other places in Exeter. We recommend bringing something like headphones or earplugs if this would be a problem for you. The ceilings are pretty high which helps minimise noise and lighting related sensory issues.

Sacred grounds is on Fore Street, which is quite a steep hill. There is a bus stop nearby, and the cafe is about a 10 minute gentle walk from the high street, but the way back up the hill can be a little more tricky.

Sacred grounds is a vegan cafe, and they also have gluten free options. They offer table service, so if you attend be aware the staff (who are lovely) may come over and engage with the group to take orders.

As we are taking up space at the cafe, we encourage those attending to make a purchase.

Hello ๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿป we are pleased to announce our next meeting for June! We will be meeting at the cafe on Sunday June 7th at 10.45 - 12.45 (roughly) โ˜•

The core meet will take place in the cafe but the book market is also happening 11-4 on this day so there will be optional opportunities afterwards to explore ๐Ÿ“š

You can come to as much or as little as you are able. Do let us know if you would like to join either part and if there is anything we can do to support you ๐Ÿ’œ

We can't wait to see you ๐Ÿค—

Waterstones cafe accessibility is as follows:

The cafe is on the second floor, which can be accessed via stairs or lift (which is currently in use as this is posted).

On the second floor, they have both disabled and non-disabled toilets.

The cafe is well organised, and we will be sat in a quieter spot away from the counter and drink/food prep noises. But prepare for it to get busier nearer the end of the social as it is on a weekend.

The cafe has informed us they can often cater to allergies, but reccomend talking with them beforehand to see if they can meet your needs.

Are you planning to attend?
