Sacred Grounds is on a ground floor level, with a calming interior and lots of plants. Part of the cafe is inside, and part is semi-outside through the arcade where the cafe is based. There are usually blankets avaible, but be prepared it might be chilly, and provide the perfect opportunity for one of their amazing hot drinks!
They have a disabled toilet, as well as regular ones which are through a separate door to the left of the cafe frontage when you are approaching. You need to request a key fob to use these.
It can get busy (because their food and drinks are amazing) which can create some noise, but this is no worse than many other places in Exeter. We recommend bringing something like headphones or earplugs if this would be a problem for you. The ceilings are pretty high which helps minimise noise and lighting related sensory issues.
Sacred grounds is on Fore Street, which is quite a steep hill. There is a bus stop nearby, and the cafe is about a 10 minute gentle walk from the high street, but the way back up the hill can be a little more tricky.
Sacred grounds is a vegan cafe, and they also have gluten free options. They offer table service, so if you attend be aware the staff (who are lovely) may come over and engage with the group to take orders.
As we are taking up space at the cafe, we encourage those attending to make a purchase.
